What does the refresh rate of LED display mean? The “refresh rate” of the LED display screen, also known as the “refresh rate”, is in Hz; the refresh rate is the number of times the display screen is repeatedly displayed by the display screen per second, and the unit is Hz (Hertz). The refresh rate is an important indicator to characterize the stability and non-flickering of the LED display screen. It mainly refers to the update rate, which is usually indistinguishable by the human eye when it is greater than 60HZ.

The human eye’s ability to perceive “flicker” is limited and exhibits individual characteristics. Generally, when the flicker frequency is greater than 24Hz, the human eye cannot feel the flicker. When the refresh rate and frame changing frequency reach the critical value, increasing the value will not help the improvement of the display quality, but the cost performance will decrease. So the refresh rate is not the higher the better.

Two common refresh rates for LED displays are 1920hz regular refresh and 3840HZ high refresh.

1. The refresh rate is the speed at which the screen is refreshed. A low refresh rate will cause the image to flicker and shake.

2. Flickering and jitter cause visual fatigue, and long-term viewing will cause eye fatigue.

3. The higher the refresh rate, the less damage to the eyes.

4. At the same time, high refresh rate can ensure the photo effect of mobile phone or camera and reduce the phenomenon of water ripples for venues with photo requirements.

The refresh rate will affect the image quality. There are two common refresh rates, 1920HZ and 3840HZ. There will be some differences in cost. You can choose reasonably according to your budget. The refresh rate is a parameter indicator of the LED display device itself. The higher the refresh rate, the lower the screen flicker and the higher the image clarity; the lower the refresh rate, the more likely the screen flicker and jitter. The refresh rate of mid-to-high-end LED displays on the market can be as high as 3840Hz, that is, the display screen is refreshed 3840 times in 1 second. The current film frame rate is generally 24Hz, that is, there are only 24 frames in 1 second. Play a movie with a frame rate of 24hz on an LED display with a refresh rate of 3840Hz, 3840/24 = 160 times, that is, each frame of the movie is refreshed 160 times by the display. With such a high refresh rate, the human eye cannot perceive the flickering of the picture, so the display fluency is very good and the definition is very high.
